Переглядів 79713 років тому
In May of 2011 the autism community fought to help Animals for Autism earn a $50,000 grant from the Pepsi Refresh Project. Six months later, the organization will no longer return phone calls from parents whose children were promised service dogs, has charged families thousands of dollars and now has the autism community wondering where did the money go? I don't know why this story is black listed

Disney's adopted daughter, Sharon Mae plays an uncredited role as Dorcas in here.
In the book, Priscilla has 3 sisters, and Dorcas is one of them (the others are Madge and Izzy).
The full movie is available on Internet Archive though.
Oh so we can't be proud of our heritage book you can be proud of your outward sexuality....oh...okay,that's fair ...NOT!!!!!
But***
I saw this movie at school back in the 1960s. I loved it.
An Appeal to Heaven
Too bad the Liberty Tree is gone. The British cut it down for firewood while surrounded in Boston after Lexington and Concord.
I wonder how this Disney remake will play out 😂
I remember watching it in elementary school. I ended up singing along. It was in 1983.

America how did you go from this to Trump
This movie had issues!
Best American Song Ever!!! I remember every word from grade school.
Donald trumps victory song
Stop. Trump is an autocratic traitor
Trump is no patriot
@@johnathanleonardo912 And you'd have us bend down and take it from an actual communist instead that would ruin the country that same way newscum ruined california? What, within realistic possibility, would you have us do instead?

I had to read “Johnny Tremain” in 1967 or ‘68 but I think I watched this a few years earlier. Even at the age of 10 or so, I thought it was a little silly how one or two men just break into song while marching and soon all the marchers and bystanders are belting this out in perfect unison - but regardless, it was still catchy and memorable. That’s why I just searched for it, to hear it again, 60+ years later.
Yes and I still love it!🇺🇸
Just watched this for our class and this goes so hard
"As the ship lay in Boston Harbor, a party the colonists dressed as red Indians boarded the vessel, behaved very rudely, and threw all the tea overboard, making the tea unsuitable for drinking. Even for Americans." - George Banks
I saw this movie on "Wonderful World of Disney" in 1958 and have never forgotten the song I can't believe what liberalism has done to Walt's dream.
the current "leadership" of Disney is ashamed of this type of unapologetic pro-American sentiment
I miss the old Walt Disney movies. No DEI BS in them.
Remember when disney was an amercan values co.
I was 9 years old when I watched the Scarecrow. I was a girl and loved all of those Disney bad boys; Scarecrow, Zorro, Robin Hood, Mike Fink and who was that other guy? Davy something?

@ 2:24 - When you have no idea what the words are to a song, but you fake it to impress the guy you're crushing on with your political activism.
Yes we are the son, yes we are the son, the son of liberty.

The history of a people are found in its songs." ●George Jellinek My fellow 5th grader veterans, please stand before me, salute before the Liberty Tree & sing the 5th Grade National Anthem.
I'm one of them!
I taught the song TheLiberty Tree to my intermediate boys in a program about music about America.
I can't find the song Anywhere. Is there any way that we can find this song
Wow that's when Hollywood was American.
Back when Disney was a National Treasure! So sad what it has become!!
When Disney was great not 😢 now
Nice movie for it's time the book was better but sorry in REALITY this didn't happen they threw the tea over board the ship into the sea at night disguised as native American indians in the secret nobody sang the Liberty tree song didn't exist read the REAL history of this era good bad and the ugly then you better appreciate what was done not this childish nonsense Disney did it was the 50s 1958 or 59 if I'm correct unfortunately much like now still incapable of dealing with the harsh situation then and now
When i was a ypung girl this was one of my favorite movies
*young
According to the "Independence Minute" narrated by Jessica Tandy during the 1976 Bicentennial Year, the British lost a man who fell to his death from the upper branches when the Liberty Tree was cut down by orders of the Govt.. Liberty Tree: 1 , Redcoats: 0. Ha haaaaa.
Think it's time everyone in America sit down and watch this then it's time we throw the tea over the ship
Very sad what happened to the young man in this. Disney dumped him, after he did Treasure Island and voiced Peter Pan, they tossed him aside like a used condom after he got older. Common practice for Disney and male stars
I read the book (and re-read it a hundred times) and always pictured Lavinia in my mind. I imagined how the silversmith's apprentice's burned hand looked. And now, almost 60 years later, they want me to BUY or RENT the movie I never saw? I can't believe there's no semi-legal copy around this place.
I did
there are still some use sons who stand to defend and protect that tree. free men who still believe in America and wont let it be taken. we stand for rights of all men. not division of man
Amazon has it
Yes shame the liberty tree song is unknown and unsung
Happy 4th of July everyone!!
This was a messed up movie
Can you imagine all of us proud Americans peacefully singing this song outside all state capital buildings and the White House? That would be a sight to see.
We're all Americans. No matter what race, creed, beliefs or whatever other trait we or others assign to us, we're all part of this great nation. We need to remember that fact, today. Especially today. Which is why what you said NEEDs to happen. The government, both state and federal, needs to remember that they serve the people, and are beholden to them.
I agree with the sentiment, but unfortunately something so patriotic will never happen again. The country has been broken in half. Trump destroyed any kind of peaceful discussion about any topic. He created another civil war. It's a slower civil war, but that's exactly what it is. So far we haven't been armed in the streets shooting each other, but that tension is building. If trump wins again it will happen. He will go after the black and brown people instantly, and then he will start going after the organizations that speak out against him. The news papers, the radio stations, the magazines, the tv stations, the websites, the podcasts. Any outlets that speak ill of him. He has said it. He means it. It will quickly turn into a civil war. An actual violent civil war. It will be more than his stupid war on shit he doesn't like. It will come to spilling blood. That is a fact. We all have to vote against him, but we also need to vote in a blue house, and keep a blue senate so we can finally get rid of the electoral college. That's the only way to keep our democracy.
I've never heard someone say something that spoke to my heart now let's do it
Lot of lyrics you'd need a song sheet.
The real patriots during the Boston Tea party had far worse than we have it now. It is ironic the same party that cries about losing freedoms are the one taking the freedom from constituents. Such as the Dobbs Decision and suing the press
It's a tall old tree and a strong old tree...
Who else thinks this should be played in history class?
It was when I was a kid! One of my favorites growing up!!

@michaelpalmieri7335 That is awesome. Never saw it until I was an adult.
